Just A Little Piece of Advice.
Just a little piece of advice.
Tomorrow I go and pick up my tux for my senior prom. I have never taken a date to a dance. Saturday is the last dance of my high school career and I have never been able to take someone and share that experience with them. Saturday will be the loneliest night of my life because I won’t be able to spend it with the person who means the most to me.
Please, don’t take those nights for granted. Don’t take the little looks, the light touch, don’t take being able to drive to their house for granted. What you have found, someone you love who is close to you, is special. Finding love at all is special and that’s why I’m willing to wait years until I can see him. It makes me sick when someone can jump from one person to the next when there are people who would give anything for just one.
Please don’t take them for granted. I have found my one and I am going to cherish ever text, every video chat, every awkward moment of silence on the phone until I can hug him, kiss him, hold him in my arms.
